Strategic promotions support the agency’s commitment to innovation and ongoing client success.
NEW YORK, NY, May 7, 2025 – January Digital, the marketing leadership company, today announced the promotion of Chris Berg and Jeremy Ekes to Vice President, Client Strategy and Services, both reporting to Nick Drabicky, SVP and General Manager, Client Services. These leadership advancements come on the heels of the agency’s new business momentum with brands including amika and Josie Maran and the launch of January Growth.
Chris Berg, based in NYC, has served as a leader in the agency for five and a half years. His focus has been on deepening January Digital’s expertise in fashion and beauty, guiding strategy for brands including Kendra Scott, StriVectin, amika, Intimissimi, and Calzedonia. Berg played a key role in launching January Growth earlier this year, dedicated to supporting fast-scaling ecommerce brands, after successfully incubating the offering with clients like Josie Maran and T3 Micro. This year, Berg is partnering with January Digital’s People team to spearhead the agency’s Residency Program, an eight-week initiative providing recent college graduates with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with industry-leading brands and build foundational marketing and media skills.
Jeremy Ekes, based in Dallas, has been with January Digital for over four years. He was instrumental in onboarding notable clients, including Sakara and Interstate Batteries, while leading award-winning work for Carhartt. Under his helm, the Carhartt team received 16 industry honors over the last two years, including recognition from Digiday, The Drum, and Google. Ekes has spearheaded innovative brand partnerships, including a recent collaboration between Carhartt, actor Luke Grimes, and Paramount’s Yellowstone.
“Chris and Jeremy have consistently delivered exceptional results for our clients while embodying our company’s values,” said Drabicky. “Their promotions reflect their strategic contributions to our growth, the unmatched value they bring to clients, and their commitment to developing our team.”
Both leaders are known for their mentorship and professional development efforts within the agency, helping to shape the next generation of digital marketing talent. They regularly contribute thought leadership to industry publications, including Digiday and Modern Retail, sharing insights on emerging digital trends and strategies.
In their expanded roles, Berg will concentrate on people and operational efficiencies while Ekes will focus on business development, ensuring January Digital continues to deliver innovative solutions that connect media, creative, and consumer behavior in meaningful ways.
